Join us for a Cold Process Soap Making Workshop
Here in my kitchen in Fishponds, Bristol, we offer an intimate (up to 4 people), informative and relaxed hands on practical workshop learning how to make cold process soap. This is an ideal introduction into the fascinating world of cold process soap making, perfect for the beginner or those looking to start a soap making hobby.
No experience is required for this workshop, just an enthusiasm to make lovely moisturising and natural soap from scratch. A comprehensive guide is available to you via email to enable you to continue your soap making journey at home, and ongoing support is just an email away.
Your day will start with coffee and biscuits and an introduction into the history of soap. From start to finish you will learn the properties of the ingredients that we use, including how to design your signature scent with our extensive range of essential oils, and the use of colour to give your finished soap that pizazz and personality, making it completely unique.
A light lunch will be provided, with time to discuss your designs with your class mates and swap ideas.
After lunch you will put what you’ve learned into action, and will start to blend your essential oils to add to your finished soap. Whether you're drawn to relaxing scents like lavender, or a more uplifting rosemary or ylang ylang fragrance, we have them here for you. Choose colours and consider botanicals, or exfoliating ingredients, in your finished product.
Cost per person is £54.

I recently did the soap making workshop and loved it!! Steph is so lovely and explained everything so well, and answered any questions we all had. She also made a lovely lunch. I came away with so much soap as well, so with everything it's such a good value for money. Couldn’t recommend enough! Lydia
Yesterday I attended a Soap Making Workshop with Stephanie. I was welcomed into her home and immediately felt relaxed. We learned how to work safely, what utensils and equipment is needed, the history of soap making and blending the essential oils to make our unique fragrances. We were also treated to a very tasty lunch. I and my fellow students were each able to successfully make a large bar of soap in our chosen colour and blended fragrance. A fabulous workshop that I would thoroughly recommend. Susan
